Elide

I love looking at pictures of old kitchens; there's a special place in my heart for urban kitchens of the early 20th century. You can find a lot of great photos at shorpy.com (do a search for 'kitchen') and have a close look at the high res versions.
The MoMA currently has an exhibition on the evolution of the kitchen space during the 20th century. It includes my all time favorite, the Frankfurt kitchen:
