Hello, hello! We are back from our Scottish Honeymoon and I think I've finally gotten over my jet lag. I hope you enjoyed the guest posts I had while I was gone; they certainly were interesting reads.
I am still sorting through the photos we took, suffice to say that no camera can do justice to the beauty of the Highlands. I ended up taking video of some of the panoramas, but even that is only a fraction of the whole feeling of the environment at that moment.
We did quite a bit more hiking than I was expecting, thanks to the amazingly warm weather, which also meant we saw some great views. We also tucked into a few pubs along the way and were able to taste test a few whiskies and pick out our personal favs. (I will happily be revealing these in a post very soon.)
Once I am finished going through the photos, I'll be writing a post on where we went, drank, and ate. Hopefully this info will be helpful to anyone who wishes to visit Scotland (which I HIGHLY recommend). I also hope to write that post I promised...oh, 6 months ago...on how I learned to appreciate whisky. So, expect those posts sometime this month. Until then, it shall be regular posting on books, mail, and vintage eye candy. Yippie!
