There are a lot of little things that make up my desk stuffs or everyday carry that I absolutely adore. These things are normally not expensive at all, but add so much joy to my daily tasks. I thought I would start a series where I gave these objects the proper thanks they deserve and share why I like the items in case you are interested in using them yourself.
Carolee bought me the Midori Brass Bullet Pencil Holder for Xmas and I fell in love with it immediately. First of all, I love the way the pencil smells. Yes, I'm a weirdo. Secondly, I love that I can put it back in it's holder when done and don't have to worry about it marking up my stuff or the point breaking in my bag. I fell so head over heels for this darn pencil that I got one for C for Valentine's Day. (He prefers pencils over pens.)
Donovan also gifted me a set of Koh-i-Noor "magic erasers" and I just love how awesome they work. Quick removal without leaving paper fluff or rips. You can get them most anywhere, so I won't bother to link to a shopping source.
To accompany my brass pencil I picked up this swell little sharpener by Fürst when I visited Pieritz Bros. in Oak Park. The weight of it feels great in my hand, it sharpens fantastically, and is so small that it barely takes up any space in my pen case.
So funny how small simple things can bring me so much joy when sketching up ideas or writing notes in a book. Do you have any office supplies that make you happy?
I have NOT been paid or asked to write this post by anyone or any company. I just love these items and want to share the love.
