Interesting Moleskine illustrations by Jorge Amador.
A wonderful flickr set from Joey Harris combines photos taken by his mother during the 40s and 50s along with his mother's memories. Absolutely great shots with great tales that not only reveal her personal life but history. I am amazed at her memory. Take a look.

So simple, but it has been resonating in my thoughts since Keri Smith posted this on her blog two months ago.

Neat illustration work from Temujin Doran

A wonderful poster from Advice to Sink in Slowly, a collaboration between graduates of University College Falmouth. The series of posters are created with the intent of passing on advice and inspiration to first year students. An advice poster is given as a welcoming gift to every student enrolling on a BA course at UCF in the summer.
Check out more on Advice to Sink in Slowly's flickr.
Edit later: I was informed by ATSIS that Tem was inspired to create this poster after seeing this.
I posted a steampunk computer a while ago, so I thought you guys would get a kick out of this steampunk laptop. More photos and info here.
I'm not sure how I wasn't introduced to the body of illustration work by Coles Phillips (1880-1927) before, but I absolutely love his style. I've already posted one piece by him and will post another tomorrow, but I wanted to share a few others with you. Click images to view larger.
If you would like to see more examples of his work, check out the collection here.
I recently discovered this blog, BibliOdyssey, which is just full of book goodies that will blow your mind. I'll let you peruse it yourself, but if you are interested in viewing more book clasps, check out this website.
This work is so amazing - 1 million pieces of wood hand-cut with the phrase "Its OK." What a wonderful thing to have on your desk, and they are well priced too. Watch the video to learn more about the project.
Also, The Small Object has a free download of a blank advent calendar for you to fill in & decorate as you please.
