I really like the palette of the postcard stamps -- it's different from most of the other stamps they have right now. If you scan down the stamp page at the USPS site, they really stand out!

However... they got a little Georgia O'Keeffe-y with that fruit. Not her style, but the whole, "This fruit/flower seems to resemble something else..." feeling.

Especially the guava.

I must be in the minority because I actually like the new stamps, mostly the kiwi and the star fruit. I also like that there are five different stamps. I send a lot of postcards and I needed some variety.

i love the new postcard stamps. they're not so much o'keeffe, but more reminiscent of Frida Kahlo's still lifes.

Cheryl

I personally love the new postcard stamps.

I think that the earlier poster was referring to the stamps' resemblance to a certain part of the female anatomy when she compared the images to O'Keefe.

The resemblance is really obvious and hilarious to my husband and me--they are the only postcard stamps available right now, so they will be going out on our RSVP cards for our wedding.

I have to send them out on my RSVP cards for our wedding and at least it isn't Frank, but I wish I had more options. Thank goodness we are having a destination wedding.

I'm curious to know if anyone who has sent them out with their wedding invitations, what kind of responses did they receive.
