Just thought I'd give everyone a quick run down of the cool stuff I've seen done with the security patterns on the interiors of lots of seemingly boring business envelopes.
1. Security Patterns: an on-going project to collect and organize envelope security patterns from around the world via Flickr.
2. Inspired by the brick pattern, a crafter named Rebecca built a tiny house.
3. Security Pattern Business Card Envelopes: a tutorial at Crafting a Green World for making cute and classy and recycled sleeves for business cards.
4. How about some beads or pendants or bracelet?
5. And we've told you about the buttons but what about these badges?.
6. Why not just turn those boring envelopes inside out and make them into fun envelopes through Karrie's tutorial on her blog?
Also, I know my good friend and L.W.A. member Betsy is in the process of making a security blanket by sewing together a bunch of the different patterns she comes across while making her beautiful postal jewelry. What about you? Make anything with security envelopes lately?

Sweetie Pie Press makes 1" buttons out of security envelopes too. She used to have people send her envelopes to use but she got so many she had to stop. http://www.sweetiepiepress.com/buttons/gallery.html last picture in the first grouping on the page...

Love those badges! They would be work nice as an alternative to a bow on a present.
