Donovan and I will be teaching our very first Mail Art Workshop here in Chicago at the awesome West Town branch of the Chicago Public Library. The workshop size is limited to only six people so you will get loads of hands-on help from us after we teach you the ropes. Here are the details:
Holiday Mail Art Workshop
Thursday, December 13th, 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Brighten up your mail and get a jump on your holiday cards with fancy handmade envelopes. The founders of the Letter Writers Alliance will show you how to create your own envelopes with a template you make in class. Festive papers and other decorations will be supplied. Come in inspired and leave with a bounty of unique envelopes and a template so the fun can continue at home.
Registration required. Attendance is FREE.
Please call the West Town Branch Library at (312) 743-0450 or register in person at the Information Desk.

What a great idea and good luck with your first class. It must be delightful receiving an envelope with mail art on it than a plain white or brown envelope that has a good chance of being a BILL. I'm sure your class will be a great success!
