This adorable P. O. is in Rupert, Vermont. It's owner is artist Jane Davies. She says that it has narrowly avoided closure, but needs our help to stay active.
One of the things keeping her Post Office alive is the volume of mail that it processes. To entice more mail through the box, she's offering a postcard exchange.
Here's how it works:
1. You send her an art postcard. It can be original handmade, or a photocopy of something you've made. Print your name and address clearly on the card.
2. Mail to: Jane Davies, PO Box 45, Rupert, VT 05768
3. She'll send you a handmade postcard. She'll send postcards to the first 200 respondents.
You can see example of her cards on her blog and she also plans to post scans of the cards she receives. There's also a sweet video of chickens. I think we could help Jane out, don't you?

I saw this mentioned over on the Month of Letters Challenge site. I will definitely be sending her a few postcards. I love her little post office and it would be such a shame for it to be closed.
