While checking out Rad & Hungry for review, I decided I had to try the Rah Rah Club, a pencil pen pal swap. At $1.99, it seemed like an easy bet. I would at least get one pencil. The club pack came in Rad & Hungry's distinctive plain packaging with bright orange accents. They used some embossed foil seals of their grinning logo as well.
My club mailing included one super nice pencil, a snazzy club card (love organizations with member cards, obviously), and a really nice, handwritten letter in pencil all about the pencil I'd been sent and the address of someone to mail a pencil too. This was great. It took me a long time to send off my own pencil to my pal, and I haven't gotten any in return, but I still have had $1.99 worth of fun, for sure. Here's a picture of the pencils I mailed out to my pal in return.
The excellent team at Rad & Hungry is offering three free spots in their program for some lucky Letter Writers Alliance blog readers. Just leave a comment with your favorite pencil and we'll choose a three winners at random next Wednesday, the 21st at 9AM. Good Luck and remember to say thank you to Rad & Hungry for being just so dern RAD.
