Released on the 22nd is my new favorite International stamp! The Global: Sea Surface Temperatures stamp is based upon a map of temperature as complied by NOAA and it's just like a happy rainbow. That is until I start thinking about climate change. Still, I'm excited to add more color and science to my International mailings. I hope we don't have to do a Global: Predicted Coastline Flooding stamp next.
Released today (which is Arbor Day, yay trees!) is the Red, White, and Blue flag stamp. Yep, more flags. Is there are rule that we always get a new flag issue? I guess it's nice that it is a more graphic design and that every stamp isn't exactly the same, but y-a-w-n. Next year, I hope they put the flag in front of flowers and get both of those boring subjects out of the way in one stamp. These are my opinions though. Feel free to love the stamps you love. That's the great thing about them. There are lots and each is unique.
