I absolutely love propaganda art, especially when it's pretty bizarre or completely inappropriate ... and therefore unintentionally funny. I especially like the first one you found.

I am also into propaganda posters; I especially like the ones that encouraged people to garden, can food, save gas, etc. The whole concept of how the government tried to shame/coerce people into changing almost every part of their lives just fascinates me!

I was going to start a series of mixed media artworks pointing out the dichotomy between what the propaganda promised and what actually happened...but then I got busy sewing vintage patterns instead!
