I fell upon this digital copy of the Eaton's Fall & Winter Catalog from 1920/21 and thought now would be a great time to flip through it with you all. You can check out the full catalog available via archive.org, but let us look at some of the highlights here.
Firstly, lets admire the lovely hand lettering and border art. So well done. Ok, on to coats! How awesome are those collars?
I love the button accents on the coats in the bottom two pages. All the layering I've been doing lately has made me realize just how much I love my wool skirts. I am lacking a good long solid color skirt, which is something this catalog has a bundle of. This page below, although considered "plain" skirts, I especially adore. I think it is because of the pockets and button detailing.
This knitwear blows my mind. Love tha sailor collar and the tassled belts. I had to include a spread of domestic work wear because I will never stop loving this genre of clothing.
Detachable collars, stylin' rain overshoes, swell games...I don't know how one didn't spend all their money on this catalog's offerings. I sure would have. The page spans above are just a paltry taste of what this 600+ page catalog has. You guys should flip through it yourself and get some inspiration.
