Is Today, the 20th of December. Priority Mail packages get one more day. Hie thee to the Post Office!
Vices included vintage cameras, red wine, dusty mystery books, vintage detective radio shows, silent movies and cupcakes.
I headed to the post office this morning. Found out a bit of info I did not know.
I recently joined the site (over the past weekend) and did not know I couldn't use my forever stamps for international post. AHHH..
Glad I only had 2 pieces going out I just covered up the 3 forever stamps and went on my merry way.. skipping and all.. Wish I would have known that before purchasing $40 worth the previous day..

That certainly IS news I did not know. I haven't had a problem...yet. We'll see if the holiday cards I sent with Forever stamps to International locales make it.

I've mailed many international postcards (with sufficient postage) including Forever stamps, and many small parcels using the same. The parcels were all through the counter at the PO, but the postcards are going out using corner mailboxes and my outbound mail. They all seem to be getting through just fine.

I suppose it's like our generic first and second class postage stamps. They can't be used on international post either, they're just for use in the UK.

Yikes! I use my forever stamps on all my outgoing international mail too......
And that Holiday mail looks fabulous!

I always use forever stamps on my frequent international mail, all my holiday cards arrived, and nobody has said theirs didn't arrive. Maybe it was a grumpy postal clerk?

Damn, if today was the deadline, then some of my friends and family are definitely going to get their cards late. Oh, well; I think strep throat is a sufficient excuse for being late, don't you?

The U.S. Postal Service is bracing for their busiest mailing day of the year. More than 800 million pieces of mail will likely go through the system on Monday, December 20th. This number represents a 40 percent increase in the average daily volume of 559 million pieces of mail.
