These two new-to-me epistolary projects blew across my virtual desk late last month. The first is the Postcard Poets. Basically, for a small subscription fee, they will send you poems via postcard. From their website: "[Postcard Poets] is a new way to discover poetry from new and established poets to readers across the world. Selected by our curators, the poetry takes the medium of postcards and is delivered to you by post." It reminds me of the Abe's Penny short fiction project. If you like poetry and mail, I can't see you going wrong.
Second is a project that warms our hearts at L.W.A. Headquarters. This is The Letter Project, by Rick Schrager. The concept is simple- ask for a letter, get a letter! That's it! If you want a letter, go ask him nicely. There's no fee, but I'm sure he'd accept a donation of stamps or stationery if you had some to spare.
If you participate in any of the above projects and want to give us a review, please do! We welcome your words!
I'm in love with that gif.
