Tamra Orr

Donovan, this exact subject is the focus of the column I just wrote for The Letter Exchange. I also quoted Cole's article in it. Putting compassion and sorrow on paper isn't easy, but it can mean so much to the person you are sending it to that it is worth every bit of deliberation over each each word.

Cole Imperi

Thanks so much for posting this! And yes, I've been a card-carrying member for several years now.
Thanks much for bringing to light a topic many of us would rather avoid.

And Tamra...I will have to check that out! I am so excited you found the article useful as well.

xoxox to you both,

Thank you for this post! I've always struggled with sympathy notes, and Cole's advice will be helpful to me in the future.

I've also discovered two new blogs to read so thank you for that, too, Donovan!

This is wonderful--I'm going to mention it on my blog, too.
