Stamp Release: Althea Gibson

AltheagibsonThis stamp is the 36th stamp in the Black Heritage series. It features tennis star Althea Gibson. Gibson was at the forefront of integration of the sport and was at one time the top rated player in the world. What I like most about the stamp is the motion and heat that seems to come off of her body. She looks so kinetic. More info about this stamp and more at Beyond the Perf.  Donovan
