Hosted by Jennie Hinchcliff of Red Letter Day, in association with the San Francisco Center of the Book and co-curated by mail artist John Held Jr., the Ex Postal Facto conference "promises to be a three day, fun-filled celebration of correspondence art, faux philatelics and all things postal." The program will run from February 14th – 16th 2014. On the schedule are a major mail art exhibition, a mail and postal goodies fair, and various lectures and mixers for the mail-mad public. It sounds like a blast. Fingers crossed, I will be attending. What do you guys think? Are you going?
P.S. Can't wait that long for mail art? There are a few spots left at the table for tomorrow's Halloween mail art at Greer in Chicago.
I've definitely put it on my calendar! (And started sending out postcard announcements to all my nearest & dearest too... well, at least the ones who probably haven't already heard about it. Hah!)

I'm trying to arrange my schedule so that I can go to this. I wish events like this would happen on the East Coast.

Well, there was just the William H. Gross Stamp Gallery opening and Correspondence Salon in Washington D.C. That seems pretty East Coast to me.
