L.W.A. long-time friend and pen pal, The Missive Maven, recently tweeted this story from Postcrossing (another friend, Hi Friends!) about Francobolli. Francobolli is in the Netherlands. The site is in Dutch, but I could see lots of words for "write" and "card" and "coffee". (Hooray for Romance language families.) There, you can pick a postcard to write along with your coffee or tea. Place your card in the calendar wall and it'll get mailed on that date. I love this. I love this wall so much. I didn't think it was possible to want to visit the Netherlands more than I already do. Have any L.W.A. readers had the pleasure of writing a card or "kaartje" at Francobolli? Have any other awesome places to share? Let us know in the comments!
I am in LOVE with this wall!! I think I need one of these in my home... That wouldn't be too excessive, right?

This would be such a wonderful solution to my all-too-frequent mad dash to figure out how to mail all my postcards at the end of my trip... simply schedule a visit to the Post Card Cafe! Write and send in one location! While enjoying a coffee!

This is such an awesome idea! It'd be fun if other people picked up the practice!

Love, love, love this! I've always thought letter writing and a tea shop would go well together... But this takes it over the top! I wonder how you get up there? Hmmm...
Sharing on our social media too, thanks!

Aaack! I lived in Leiden, where this shop is located, from 2006-2010. This couldn't have been there, then!
I visited with friends in 2013 and we didn't see this then either, although we could only see so much during our limited time. We were there before heading to a calligraphy workshop in Belgium and this would have been right down our alley.
I'll make a note for the next time I visit.
