I followed a tweet from the British Postal Museum and Archive this morning annoucing the opening of a new exhibit all about their airmail service. The service began on August 20th, 1934 and the exhibit opens that same day (which is this Wednesday), 80 years later. It will run through the end of October and have a Post & Go stamp machine will have a special pictorial design available for the exhibit. (There's also a ton of airmail theme stuff to buy in the gift shop.) I'll send an Inkling to anyone who sends the L.W.A. Headquarters one of those from the exhibit. I think it all sounds marvelous.
Now I wish I were going back to London, soon!

And don't you wish you were flying on board Horatius?
