L.W.A. Clubhouse: Bare Bones

After 10 years of working out of our respective homes, we finally have our own studio. We are calling it the L.W.A. Clubhouse. Here is a sneak peek at the bare bones of the space. We will update you as we finish-up and fill the studio with all our things.

As you can see, there isn't much in the space yet, although we have "installed" a "fireplace" to keep us warm during the Chicago winter. We have to thank local member Kimberly for donating the desk (seen above) and the hutch that we are using as a fireplace mantel.

We still have plenty to do to our Clubhouse, including filling it with pigeons, stationery, and maybe a wee bit of booze. This space will allow us to expand and realize a lot of projects that have been on the back burner. One project being a live video virtual social! More info on that later. Until then, we lock up the studio and will give you a full viewing when it is all completed.

Patricia - It is a Dimplex Mini Cube. It works best for close heating, like under your desk, not so much for heating-up an entire room.

Congratulations on the space! I am excited to see what comes out of the clubhouse! I know you all accept donations (via the sidebar button), but do you have a "wishlist" - Amazon or otherwise - of things/supplies/snacks for the clubhouse that members could purchase on your behalf?

Jess - Thanks so much for the lovely thought! Anything we need to buy are going to be through local shops, so the donate button is the best way to help out with the clubhouse. You can put a note stating what you would prefer it be put to. The one thing we are lacking right now is an electric water boiler/kettle so we can make tea and instant coffee!
