Letters in Cinema

Member David (from Germany) sent us this link to this video. He says "I came across this the other day: around six minutes of scenes from different films involving letter writing, set to music and telling in some way a story. Perhaps it's what young people call a mash up. I find it romantic and melancholic and also heart warming. To think: letters can also be movie stars! And we can write them!" I agree, David. How lovely! Now I definitely want to sit down and write a letter rather than get on with the work of the day. And I also got sucked into the library in film piece. Two of my favorite things -- letters and libraries!

Loved it....feeling a little exhausted as I near the end of a month of letters, but this 'film' makes me want to write more!

Beautifully done. I love how it shows the journey of a letter from start to finish. I smiled when the letters were dropped in the mailbox and then received by the recipient.
