They actually don't have to issue new stamps, since most stamps these days are "forever". But I'm all for giving more money to the USPS :D

Donovan Beeson

But the Forever stamps arent the ones they are changing, hence the reissues. They are making it so that postcard stamps will read postcard instead of a denomination. Same with the Two Ounce and Additional Ounce.

Margaret

New postcard rate forever stamps right after I buy a roll of 100 34 cent ones??

Obviously an excuse to buy more stamps.

Nicolle

Yay for new stamps.

Also important to note that "The cost to send a one ounce First Class Letter to an international destination will increase five cents, to $1.20 from $1.15."

Leann

I hope they come out with much cuter/more beautiful/more interesting postcard stamps. The hummingbirds are so bland and I have seen them too much!

@Nicolle *thank you* for pointing out the international increase.

FinnBadger

Will you be issuing your amazing infographic to accompany the price changes like you did in 2013 and 2014?

Donovan Beeson

If the regular stamp prices were changing, I would, but I dont know that I'll be doing that this time. Maybe. I don't know.

Emily Una

I'm so into the Costal Birds! Yea more postcards!

Nicolle

I'm not sure if you've seen this article, but apparently domestic stamps are supposed to go back to 46 cents.
