Yeah…finding the time. International Correspondence Writing Month and National Letter Writing Month were both helpful in that I could "sprint" to the end of the month. I've fallen back out of the habit, however.

For someone like me who LOVES to write a personal note|card|letter, it is just simply lost on me why people don't do it! Honestly, it takes about as long to write a quick note or postcard as it does to send an email IF you have all of the tools in place: Postcard - check. Stamp - check. Pen - check. Address - check. 90 second to say, "Hey, Friend. I'm thinking about you, so I thought I'd let you know." Clip on the mailbox for Mailman Steve to pick up. Done. Really, how hard IS that?!!!

In this era of instantaneous communication, a postal letter is a rare and wondrous item. The Letter Writers Alliance was dedicated to preserving this art form through fostering community and communication through the mail. Membership was active from Summer 2007 to Summer 2020. Write more letters!

The L.W.A. was established in 2007 by Kathy Zadrozny & Donovan Beeson. These two ladies managed every aspect of the Alliance, from design, to packing orders, to maintaining the website. The L.W.A. is a labor of love and we are happy you have joined us in sharing a love for letters.
