There have been some new entries into the Internet mail blogging scene on my radar recently. Our friends at Jet Pens have a blog entry devoted to letter writing. Sure, a lot of it is marketing but hey, who doesn't love new supplies. Lucy Halcomb has teamed up with Oh Happy Day to write Happy Mail, a monthly column featuring letters sent between her and pals. Empireposts is a great blog about the philatelic ephemera of the British Empire. I have been enjoying their posts and pictures.
Finally, there's the new and amazing site Handwritten. They run projects and events all geared around the art of the handwritten word. We've sent them some supplies to help with an event they have set for February 19th at Pen + Brush Gallery. It seems like it'll be a really fun event. Send us some mail from the event and I'll send you an Inkling.**
*I suppose it's all immaterial, really. Haha, puns!
**Inklings are L.W.A. member currency. You earn inklings; there is no way to buy them. We are a community, so when you support the community, you get an inkling as a way to show our gratitude. See more in the Community section.
Thank you for reading and sharing our post Donovan!
