"But Donovan, I'm no artist! How can I participate in the Great Mail Art Exchange?" --An L.W.A. member
Fear not! Mail art need not be complicated or scary. Your fellow member, Anna M., has sent us a number of links to her blog, Hunt & Hearth. She's got a bevy of easy mail art tutorials to share with you. Why, you could make envelopes from recycled papers! You could add some sealing wax! You could start some collage!
Do you have any tutorials you have created to share with your members? Please add them in the comments! Happy mailings!
Washi tape, stickers, and rubber stamps are the perfect items to help you do MailArt on a boring old white envelope, too. And if you simply google: mailart images you will be AH-mazed at the inspiration you can find. Watch out. It's super addicting!

Take photos on your computer to PicMonkey and add overlays, etc. I use my grandchildren's drawings. Gesso an envelope, then splash paint on it. Make fabric envelopes and fabric postcards. Too much fun!

Donovan, I'd love to see a walk through of how you put together your outgoing mail! Is it primarily collages??? I LOVED how you reused your calligraphy stroke practice sheets as envelopes!
