In case you're not as adept at handwriting reading as I, this is a letter from the lovely Liz at Wonderpens in Toronto. I got word of the shop from a pen pal and I could tell that they are a place that our members need to know about. After this letter and a perusal of their website, I heartily agree. In addition to their quality product offerings and sundry class options, they also host a letter social each month! HOW COOL! HOW GREAT! Everyone should go! It's the second Thursday of the month and the next one is set for August 11th at 7PM. No cost, supplies provided, tea, coffee & treats. Bring a friend and some addresses! Why, it's positively wonderful.

Such a singular hand on that label. Eye-catching.

I hope you never change the photo of you two. You know a body is loving the laugh when the head is thrown back and eyes are shut. I love the photo. I'd consider myself special if I had an autographed copy.

Stamp Releases: Pickup Trucks, Jaime Escalante, & Henry James The July U.S.P.S. new stamp issues all feel appropriate for Summer. There's certainly a boys' club feel with the men and trucks, but it doesn't bother me. I think think it's interesting how they all seem to compliment each other....
