Who doesn't like stickers? I had a collection when I was young- a journal full of Mrs. Grossman's and Lisa Frank and Sandy Lion stickers. I never had any real use for them then, but I liked having them. There were fuzzy ones, glow-in-the-dark ones, scratch-n-sniff ones, opalescent ones, and fluorescent ones. Anyway, I say this to tell you that I'm predisposed to like stickers. I'm especially gonna like stickers that come to me in the mail. Introducing Pipsticks sticker subscription service!
Each Pipsticks sticker subscription pack is full of stickers in all shapes, sizes, colors and textures. In addition to cool stickers, you'll also find a few paper goodies. The pack comes in a neat envelope and is overall a delight to find in your mailbox. The company also has a site with free printables and blog of sticker reviews and projects that I found pretty neat. As with all subscription programs, there is a random aspect to the sticker subscription that you need to embrace in order to enjoy your package. While I could potentially see a way to use all of the stickers in my pack in my mail art, I know that my particular style of mail art isn't really sticker oriented*. However, unlike say, cards or stationery, I don't have a clear vision of exactly what stickers I want; so the assorted option felt pretty freeing to me. Unlike the sort of consumer overload that the sticker store in the mall used to cause me ("I only have $5. How will I know I'm picking the RIGHT stickers with my $5!?"--anxiety shopper Donovan, age 8), here's a surprise package full of stickers. All kinds. WOO HOO!
Pipsticks comes in packs geared for adults or kids and in two different sizes. The "Big" packs are $14.95 and the "Petite" packs are $9.95 plus tax and shipping. In an act of extreme coolness, the Pipsticks crew has a code for Letter Writers Alliance blog readers. Use code LETTER15 to get 15% off the 1st month of any sticker subscription. Thanks Pipsticks!
*So, I've a pack of rad stickers that I know I'm not gonna use. I'm willing to share the fun. First three readers to email their address and member number can get some stickers mailed to them by me. Use the subject line: Pipstickemup All claimed!
I've been subscribing to Pipsticks for a while now... yep, it's pretty fun to get that random envelope every month. Except -- I have NOT received that AWESOME red phone booth sticker! {waaaaa!}

I was a subscriber but switched to subscribing to My Stickii. I just felt that paying $10 for 2 full sticker sheets and maybe 4 small sheets was not worth it. Maybe you get your money's worth when you subscribe to the big pack? I'm happy with my stickii so far. Their $10 subscription gets me 7 big sticker sheets plus a Washi sample and I can pick a retro theme!
