Since Kathy and I are traveling today, let's talk about airport mailboxes. Some time ago, I had posted to a site that let you identify the locations of mailboxes at various airports around the world. Sadly, that site seems to have drifted away. Through the hard work of L.W.A. member Mike, the site lives again! Check out the Airport Mailbox Project. If you do find a postal facility that he doesn't have on the site, just let him know. He'll get it added. GREAT WORK, Mike! This is an inkling-worthy project for certain.
P.S. Kathy poses at the drop box in O'Hare back in 2012.
This is great! The mailboxes at Midway are easy to find - but I've never seen this one at O'Hare. I will have a look next time!

So back in March I mailed several postcards at Heathrow airport, on my way home from the UK. In June I got texts from the recipients thanking me for writing from Budapest! I have never been to Hungary, but apparently my mail went on a 4 month journey without me.
