We were recently contacted by a German survey company who has been contracted to do a study about mail deliveries in Europe. They are looking for people who check their mail on a daily basis. As far as I can tell, they seem to be on the up and up, but surveyor beware and all that. I can't participate since I'm not in Europe, but I'd love to hear back if any Alliance members take them up on their offer. If this was an American study, I'd definitely sign up.
Thanks for posting this! I registered today. I love participating in these sorts of things.
For any UK members out there who aren't already aware, there's a similar quality of service survey that is done for the Royal Mail. If you manage to secure a place on it then each month you receive 2 packs of standard 1st class stamps. Kinda dull, but useful. More exciting though is that every quarter you'll be sent special commemoratives. Last month I received the Star Wars set issued when 'The Force Awakens' came out in the cinema. I was over the moon!
"That's no moon.."

I'm doing this in Australia. I registered through the same website. Mail comes from all around the world, and I have to register online the date and other information about the item when it arrives, and return the transponders to Germany. Pre-addressed and stamped envelopes and stamps were sent to me. For my efforts, I get $8 paid into my PayPal account each month. It seems they need both senders and recipients for the survey, so I imagine that they would need people in the USA to receive the mail as I am doing in Australia. You can also have the money donated to Médecins Sans Frontières if you prefer which I may do when I break my online buying habit.
