The Night Mail is a British documentary from 1936 about the mail train from London to Scotland. The film is considered one of the best of its kind, including novel techniques, a complicated score, and a poem by W. H. Auden. The Royal Mail ran a number of these Travelling Post Offices or T.P.O.s. You can read more in depth about them here at Mike's Railway History.
Brings back the days of film school. ;)
