Today is International Left Handers Day. Hello, left-handed friends! I am not left-handed, but I am left-eyed which means I operate as left-handed when on the archery range (which is not frequent). So I'd like to ask our left-handed members to chime in with any left-handed letter writing tips they may have learned in their long years. The video is from my favorite online source for more pens I don't need, www.jetpens.com. And here's a cover celebrating it from Joe Frasketi's online Cover Album.

It's too bad they didn't get it postmarked in Left Hand, WV, though.

Yes! That's me! I have learned that no smudging = a combination of writing surface (not shiny) and pen drying time (fast). Or, write slow and lift your hand often to ensure no smudges. Over the years pencils have improved from when I was a kid.
Forget about how to hold the pen and my hand...the time for that motor skill refinement is past.

Hey, I'm left-eyed, too! Didn't even know that was a thing until riflery class at summer camp years ago.

I write from below the line. And if anyone is studying calligraphy with dip pens, be sure to get the nibs for lefties, they are cut in the opposite direction.
